private entrance, large Jacuzzi tub, charming rustic decor
Could use better outdoor seating options for relaxation purposes!!! Also, the shower was quite tight, which might not be comfortable for everyone!!! Please consider improving access to local dining options as well!!!

The stay here was simply lovely. the room had a giant chair with an ottoman perfect for lounging and the four-poster bed was super comfy. I really enjoyed sipping coffee on the charming covered porch and taking a soaking bath in the jetted tub. Just a heads up, a bit more outdoor seating would have been nice, but I’d definitely recommend this place for a relaxing getaway! 😊

A Peaceful Getaway with Amazing Food
I had a wonderful two-night stay in the Deluxe King Room. The serene atmosphere and cozy decor made our time there so relaxing. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the homemade French toast. Retha’s cooking is top-notch! Dana and Retha were incredibly accommodating and full of helpful local tips. One improvement could be adding more outdoor seating for better relaxation in the beautiful surroundings.

Great breakfasts and serene hiking, but the drive to restaurants was a hassle.

Breakfast was a delight—waffles, bacon, and fresh fruit made my foodie heart sing! Plus, Dana and Retha made us feel at home, and the free room upgrade for my disability was a stellar touch. The Homestead Heritage Center nearby is a must-visit for local crafts and the Homestead Cafe serves up some mean eats.
The tub water was hotter than Texas in August! And while the driveway's gravel was a ride in itself, it didn’t kill the cozy vibe. Overall, it didn’t steal the spotlight from the fun we had.
